Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/06/08/robert-snodgrass-feels-hes-been-played-out-of-position-at-west-h/

“There were some factors that made things difficult last season,” Snodgrass said. “I was living away from my family because we didn't want to interrupt schooling but next season I'll have my wife and three kids with me.

“I was also asked to play on the left to fill the gap vacated by Dmitri Payet but it's never been my position. I've scored nearly a hundred goals as a mainly right-sided player and I've said to the manager that's where I think I'm most effective.

“We've had a very good discussion and hopefully I'll be given a run of games where I'm comfortable. If it doesn't happen right away, I will have to wait for my chance.”

Didn't see this in Alan's papers, hence why I'm posting it ... you cunts?

I don't think the idiot Bilic understands that we need pace as he's just bought the slowest RB in the league.

Re: Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
Yeah that's correct, his real position should be in the reserves.

Agree. That has been the issue for years. These players are not rubbish but its about blend and balance. We seem to only ever buy one paced players for that midfield area. Antonio the exception. Its been the same for years. Snodgrass would look a lot better also with strikers running the channels and quick wide midfield players giving options. We need pace.

Re: Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
Snodgrass is exactly what we don't need right now - another midfielder with no pace.

Whatever we do over the Summer we need to get some electric pace into this squad or we'll be overrun again. The Premier League is getting faster every year.

Re: Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
I never thought he was intended as a replacement for Payet. In terms of numbers yes, but not position. Lanzini or Antonio was supposed to move to Payet's position, and Snodgrass was supposed to replace them. So I guess he has a point.

Best game I have seen him play was AGAINST us playing for Hull early season.

Re: Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
I never really understood why we signed him in the first place? But i fully understand that we need to get rid ASAP.........Newcastle would be my guess, its up north and they have a record not dissimilar to us in bad signings!

Re: Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
How on earth was he Hull's main man? Did they just tailor their play to him or were they just so terrible that he stood out?

Re: Snodgrass 'being played out of position'
Thankfully it looks there will be takers for this fraud. When will we ever learn. I'm also questioning Bilic big time on this deal.

Have good ITK that he is looking to leave, due to playing time and positioning...

Brighton and Newcastle are interested.

It was a tactical decision to buy him to ensure Hull took up the second relegation spot with Sunderland
